Graduating from Reading University with a BA Hons in Fine Art, Louise Fairchild has had an extensive and impressive career. Establishing herself through a long run of corporate commissions for brands like Fortnum and Mason and Marks and Spencer, Fairchild has proved herself to be an incredibly gifted artist. Following in the footsteps of Turner, Monet, and so many other household names, Fairchild's landscape paintings evoke that same serenity, capturing the feeling of a mythical oasis shrouded in calm, misty twilight. Fairchild creates astounding depth in her landscapes by using metallic pigments to provide a reflective base and building layer upon layer of coloured glaze.
