Eleanor Sykes is a Wales-based illustrator who uses her practice as a tool to investigate the world around her; a discovery through visual conversation. Her work discusses what it means to be living in a world of moments. As an illustrator and researcher, she is figuring out new ways to experience the world through connecting with an intuitive playfulness.

The Hook's Take: The characters and narratives in all of Eleanor's illustrations thread together to reveal the rich and wonderful world she has created, inspired by stories from her childhood. Each piece of artwork is a small piece of this world and a glimpse into the artist's imagination.
